This hybrid approach shoe offers almost unlimited possibilities when it comes to moving quickly in the mountains. It is designed equally for ticking off trail miles, jumping from boulder to boulder as well as for scrambling on slabby terrain. The synthetic upper is particularly lightweight, offers protection and is equipped with a GORE-TEX® membrane that ensures waterproofness without sacrificing breathability. The dual-density EVA midsole delivers the performance of a trail running shoe, but the TPU arch insert provides stability and torsion control, making the Rapid a hybrid that is suitable for both trail running and approach. The Dynamic Protection System insert is used in the forefoot area and improves the shoe's propulsion and edge stability. The Vibram® outsole made of Megagrip rubber compound offers unbeatable friction properties and a climbing zone in the area of the big toe. Snow under your feet? Muddy trails? No problem for the Rapid GTX. It is the perfect choice for moving quickly through mountain terrain in changing conditions.
