Use Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In in the washing machine...

For best results, remove all non-washable parts and wash the item first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle. It is not necessary to dry the item before waterproofing.

• Remove all detergent residue from the detergent compartment.
• Put clean clothes in the washing machine (maximum 2 items).
• Use 100ml per garment.
• Wash on 30°C synthetic cycle and gentle spin.

Do not machine wash if taped seams have come loose. * To maintain the water repellent properties, always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash®. Do not use conventional detergents.

*Damaged and faulty tape sealed seams can sometimes come loose on older garments, re-glue with a suitable adhesive after waterproofing and drying.

Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In can be applied by hand...

Use gloves.

• Immerse 1 clean part in a bowl/basin containing 6L of lukewarm water.
• Add 50ml TX.Direct®.
• Mix well, let soak for 5-10 minutes, mix well again.
• Rinse until the water runs clear.

Clothing treated with Nikwax TX.Direct® does not require heat to develop durable water repellent (DWR) properties...

Air dry or tumble dry on low heat (please follow care instructions).
