The Skorpius CR II was designed for the most demanding ski tourers to tackle the biggest ascents and descents in the most technical areas and in the most remote locations. They are the perfect companion for big ski races, as they offer excellent walking comfort, which is always needed when tackling the most inaccessible peaks with skis on your back. The bio-based Pebax® Rnew® shell is reinforced with carbon fibers, allowing for a reduced thickness without compromising the strength of the structure. The result is a lightweight shoe for ascents, but very stiff, supportive and efficient for descents.
The introduction of the BOA® Fit System allows fine adjustment of the shell closure and offers high precision on ascents and descents. The Pebax® EZ 3D Flex Toungue offers a wide range of motion for the ankle, both on steep slopes and when traversing long distances on flat terrain. The SWING-LOCK system, a rotating locking mechanism, ensures optimal locking speed and prevents mechanical parts from being damaged when hitting rocks, facilitating the most technical walk passages.
