Excellent walking characteristics thanks to the innovative "Double Heel™" heel construction: the very distinctive geometry with double heel construction improves braking properties when running downhill and allows for a smoother rolling behavior, protecting the muscles. + Durability and lightness harmonize perfectly thanks to the new sole/midsole unit with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam for more cushioning and lightness thanks to fewer rubber layers. The shape is ergonomic: enveloping and precise, with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel and to reinforce the upper. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with shaped ankle and external fold lines allows for better pedal control and perfect ankle mobility. The external waterproof gaiter made of elastic Cordura® allows maximum waterproofness, while the internal Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane lets sweat out but keeps water out. Lacing with integrated, precise and fast BOA® Fit System. The midsole can be used with semi-automatic crampons on ice or snow.
