The Ultra -5° is an extremely light, compact 3-season sleeping bag and is for anyone who does not want to make any compromises when it comes to equipment. Ideal for trekking tours, long-distance hikes, mountain tours and bivouacs. For anyone looking for a light sleeping bag with the widest possible range of uses. With the Ultra -5°, the weight of the equipment can be reduced to an absolute minimum.
The filling made of the finest, RDS-certified goose down with 850+ cuin fill power gives it excellent, homogeneous warmth. The all-round, H-shaped down chambers allow the down to be "shaked upwards" when required and the sleeping bag can be adapted to the respective temperature conditions and the sleeping mat used.
The focus of the Ultra series is not only on the filling, EXPED also uses only the finest of the finest in its workmanship. The outer material is Pertex Quantum, which is made entirely from recycled polyamide. Details such as the zipper and the webbing are made from recycled PET bottles.
The Ultra sleeping bag has a carefully designed, comfortable 3D triangle foot box, and the zipper cover prevents unpleasant cold spots. The adjustable, elliptical thermal collar hugs the neck and reduces drafts and heat loss to a minimum.
