ATK Freeraider 15 EVO is the ultimate, lightweight pin binding for downhill-oriented ski tourers, as well as demanding freetourers and freeriders!
The big sister of the Raider 13 EVO comes with identical features but higher release values. Includes Freeride Spacer AL13.
With a total of eight ATK patents installed, they are a concentration of Italian engineering. In addition to the tried and tested systems, the new front piece is used for the first time. Using a small screw in front of the crampon holder, the Z value can be set separately and adapted to individual needs for the first time. The already reliable release is thus taken to a new level. The ski stoppers are activated automatically by turning the rear piece to downhill mode.
For even more safety and comfort, the area within which the heel piece automatically springs back to the center of the ski has been expanded by 15° in each direction.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- EES
Completely new toe design. A soft step-in that is safe and easy to hit, available on all current models and works even with worn soles.
- Elastic Response System
The Elastic Response System compensates for the flex of the ski that occurs during jumps or when there is a lot of pressure. A spring placed between the heel unit carriage and the binding adjustment screw allows a length compensation of 10 or 12mm, depending on the model, thus preventing false releases.
- CAM Release
The CAM release system is located in the heel piece of the touring bindings to regulate both the step-in and the vertical release in the event of a fall. A special CAM profile is pressed against the heel pins by a pre-tensioned spring: When stepping in or in the event of a fall, they are guided along the profile. This offers precise resistance to the release of the pins, depending on the set
trigger value.

Magnetic climbing aids that are as simple as they are ingenious to use.
Snow Pack Proof System
The Snow Pack Proof System describes the special design of the front piece that prevents snow or ice from accumulating under the springs.
- Uphill Hardness Variator
At the end of the locking lever of the toe piece there is an adjustment option for the hardness of the locking when climbing, which is adjusted via the contact pressure of the pins.
