When you think of the Raider EVO, you have to imagine a crown with eight jewels. The best of ATK bindings combined in a binding that is focused on ascents but knows no compromises on descents. All you have to worry about is skiing, the Raider takes care of tuning the ski.
The Raider Evo range has been completely redesigned and offers a new series of bindings that showcase the best of ATK Bindings technology in the Free Touring category.
The most important innovation is the heel part, which is equipped with an automatic ski brake and replaces the manual push-button mechanism, which is now activated by turning the heel part. The second innovation is the revolutionary toe piece, which has adjustable release values and can be perfectly adapted to your own skiing style.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Easy Entry System®: new geometry of the toe part elements that makes getting into any tech boot available on the market easy and safe, even with worn soles.
- SNOW PACK PROOF SYSTEM®: no snow accumulation under the toe part, even during multiple uphill/downhill transitions. It also avoids the snow load on the toe part and guarantees perfect lightness at all times.
- UHV® System (Up-hill Hardness Variator): System that allows the hardness of the toe part to be varied. It compensates for the wear of the toe insert over the years, ensures an appropriate locking hardness for each user and reduces the pressure on the locking mechanism.
- CAM RELEASE SYSTEM®: exclusive system that offers the most stable downhill performance on the market, extremely precise release and the softest heel entry in the industry.
- ELASTIC RESPONSE SYSTEM®: an elastic sliding system (14 mm elasticity) installed on the heel part to ensure the natural flex of the ski (even during big jumps/compressions), improves the release performance of the binding when it is loaded and reduces the pressure on the ski boot binding system.
- Magneto Heel Flaps® offers 3 different running modes.
- The built-in crampon slot ensures perfect insertion of any ATK Bindings® crampon size.
- A 25 mm ADJUSTMENT PLATE integrated in the heel section ensures quick adjustment when changing shoes.
- The release system on the heel part offers an adjustment range of 5 to 13, both laterally (Mz) and vertically (My).
- RELEASE ADJUSTMENT TOE PIECE®: The adjustment options for the heel release are now also available for the toe part. The new toe part from ATK Bindings has an adjustable release and, in combination with the heel part, offers top-class stability.
- AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM®: An exceptional, innovative system that requires no further action to activate the rear ski brake. The mechanism is automatically adjusted and when changing from ascent to descent mode, the ski brake is activated without any further action.
