The new “R12” family features 4 different production technologies as well as 6 ATK® patents on the new Snow Pack Proof System® to prevent snow, ice and foreign objects from penetrating the front automatic locking mechanism.
The great know-how that ATK® has developed in the racing sector has also made it possible to achieve a weight of just 330 grams, including the new rear ski brake, which offers great braking power with surprising ease of use and low weight offers. A new, fully adjustable Freeride Spacer is available as an accessory and definitely bridges the gap between the Free Touring and Free Ride categories by bringing the precision and power transmission to the level of alpine racing bindings.
The R12 binding is available in five different colors : White, Light Blue, Orange, Black and Dark Blue to perfectly match any ski design.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Easy Entry System®: a new geometry of the toe box that makes boarding extremely easy, intuitive and safe with all tech ski boots, even with worn soles.
- SNOW PACK PROOF SYSTEM®: avoids the problem of ice accumulation and the consequent jamming of the front automat, even with multiple skin changes, considerably reduces the accumulation of snow on the front automat, thus guaranteeing an optimal light weight in all phases of use.
- UHV® System (Up-hill Hardness Variator): system that allows to vary the hardness of the locking of the front automatic device in the uphill mode. Compensates for the wear and tear of the ski boot's front panel over the years, providing each user with an adequate closing force and reducing unnecessary pressure on the locking mechanism.
- CAM RELEASE SYSTEM®: the historical patented system that guarantees the best downhill performance that can be found on the market, as well as an extremely precise release and the softest heel insertion.
- ELASTIC RESPONSE SYSTEM®: an elastic sliding system applied to the heel unit that guarantees the natural flex of the ski (even in the case of large jumps/compressions), improved release performance in the event of heavy system loads and reduced loads on the ski/ski boot/binding system.
- An updated version of the Magneto Heel Flaps® system offers 5 different positions. u
- The integrated cross tip holder SRA ensures the perfect insertion of all ATK® cross tips.
- The 25mm adjustment slide integrated in the heel unit allows quick adjustment when changing ski boots
- . The release system on the heel unit allows lateral adjustment (Mz) and vertical adjustment (My) from 5 to 12.
- ELASTIC SLIDE SKI BRAKE: the ski brake is equipped with an elastic slide on the plate in contact with the sole of the ski boot, which guarantees the maintenance of the lateral release value.
- New rear SKI-STOPPER included, characterized by the extreme quality and the light weight typical of ATK®. Two positions (ascent and descent) can be selected with a simple button
- New FREERIDE SPACER (option): thanks to this accessory we have also closed the gap between the Tech bindings and the Alpine bindings, thus guaranteeing a precision superior to any other model that can be found on the market.
